Mike Lowery

I shot an assignment for the Rock Hill Herald where I was to get pictures of Mike Lowery. He is a pastor here in Rock Hill, SC that left a very large church several years ago to start a new church, Impact Church. This new church is close to breaking ground on a new building. A very cool assignment even if the photography was difficult. I hope you enjoy.

Going through some pictures, thought I would share

This red wall is just the most awesome thing ever! Chris and Stephanie were just so cute. The light was great, and I thought this was a great shot to show how much they loved each other.

I loved this shot. Samantha wanted to get some nice shots with her dog, Jackson, to give to her dad for Father's Day. It was a fun time and Jackson was a real trooper!

Engagment shoot

I had a blast playing with Brandon and Ashley. They are a beautiful couple getting married Sept. 4 in Wilkesboro, NC. We went to historic Fort Mill, SC and took a few shots for them to use as engagement pictures. I hope they had as much fun as I did!

Rock Hill Airport and Planes

I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot at the Rock Hill Airport. There were several airplanes and one of the Charlotte Medical Center's helicopters. I have always had a fascination with the Lifeflight helicopters. Here are a few photos from that shoot.

Mother's Day

I hope that all the mothers of the world were able to have the most pleasant of days. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend the day with my son along with my father, step-mother, brother, and his son. I don't have the opportunity to spend much time with my nephew. I am sure though when he gets older, he will not recognize me without a camera in front of my face. He is a total doll, and so photogenic. (I would say that even if he wasn't... he is my nephew!) Well, here are a few pictures of our day together... I hope you enjoy them, as much as I enjoyed taking them.

A few shots from my photography at Quail Hollow. I did not spend a lot of time on the golf course but I was able to meet some really remarkable volunteers that help the golf tournament go off without a hitch.

City Block Project

There were several organizations that organized an event to showcase photography in the Charlotte area. Their goal was to have as many photographers come to one city block and shoot for 24hours. This time they picked the block that contains the entertainment complex Epicenter. I went a little later at night trying to get some interesting shots, and here are a few of what I came up with. It is always interesting to be a part of something that can be wonderful for the photography community in Charlotte. I love to see how our art can make this area a better place!
